January 2020

The council has released further details for the special Planning Committee meeting on17 January.

The council has announced that a special Planning Committee meeting will be held on Friday 24 January 2020 to consider matters relating to the Stansted Airport planning application.

October 2018

Uttlesford District Council's Planning Committee was due to determine the planning application - which seeks to raise the current cap on the number of passengers the airport is permitted to serve from 35 million passengers per annum (mppa) to 43mppa - at a special meeting on 17 October. It has now been agreed to move this to Wednesday 14 November.

Stansted Airport planning application update

Uttlesford District Council has requested that additional information be supplied before a decision can be made on a planning application for development at Stansted Airport.

Public consultation period for Stansted Airport planning application is extended

Uttlesford District Council is currently consulting on a planning application to increase the maximum passenger throughput at Stansted Airport from 35 million passengers per annum to 43 million per annum.
