Free Dr Bike workshop
Is your bike in need of some TLC? Our bike doctors will give it a free health check and make any minor repairs, such as brakes, gears, chain or tyres.
Just head down to the Market Place between 10am and 3pm and visit our mechanics in their pop-up workshop.
Reserve a place to have your bike fixed.
Join a bike ride
Do you need to build your confidence on the roads? Are you worried about cycling with your children?
Boost your confidence on the road with these accompanied bike riding sessions starting from the Market Place.
You will need to bring a roadworthy bike, helmet and suitable clothing. All children must be accompanied by an adult (maximum of 3 children to one adult.)
The bike rides are at 10.15am to 12.15pm or 12.45pm to 2.45pm.
Community e-cargo bike
If you run a small business and want to deliver orders in the most sustainable way. Check out our new community e-cargo bike which is available to hire.
Our partner, OurBike will be launching our community e-cargo bike.
Bike club and bike hire
We will also be launching our 'Saffron Walden Bike club' and bike hire schemes.
