Pay for garden waste collection service - new customers

Here is how you can pay for your garden waste service.

The garden waste collection service is for residents of Uttlesford only and the annual service cost is £46, this will cover you for collections from 1 June 2022 to 31 May 2023.

If you receive Local Council Tax Support (LCTS) you will be eligible for a 25 percent reduction on the service charge. This will mean that you only pay £34.50. You will need to provide your claim number, if you are unsure of this please call 01799 510510.

New customers

You will need to have completed our Garden waste service application form before you make your payment.

You will also need to pay a one-off fee of £23.63 for a garden waste bin.

Ways to pay

We have a number of other ways that you can use to pay for your garden waste collections. Please include your Garden waste reference number with all payments.

Pay online

You can pay using our secure online payments service

Please select the Garden Waste Service tab on the left of the online payments screen.

Please enter:

  • Reference - NEW CUSTOMER  
  • Amount - amount payable
  • Description - Surname, first line of your address, post code and benefit claim number if applicable

By phone

You will need to call us on 01799 510510 if you want to pay over the phone using your debit card or credit card.

By cheque

Although our offices are currently closed for face to face payments we are still able to receive cheque payments. Please ensure that you put your garden waste reference on the back of your cheque. You will then need to send  it to us at:
