Caravans and mobile homes

There may be conditions attached to a licence relating to:

• the safety and welfare of the occupants
• spacing between caravans or mobile homes
• provision of amenities
• fire safety and fire fighting precautions

Eligibility

You must have planning permission for the caravan site before you apply for a licence.
 

How to apply

You can apply for a caravan site licence from us by contacting our Environmental Health Team.

We may put conditions on the licence that we issue to you.

Licence fees

We'll charge you a licence fee that is based on the number of pitches on the site.

Fines and penalties

You may be fined if you:

• do not get a licence
• break any of your licence conditions
