Report a repair

Who to contact for repairs to a council owned property, what you can expect from the council and which parts of your home you are responsible for.

Axis Europe

From 1 April Axis Europe is our new repairs contractor managing and maintaining the 3,000 homes in our housing stock. This includes carrying out repairs to your home.

If you ask us to repair something in your council home, we will need to know if it is an emergency repair, an urgent repair or a routine repair.

You can also tell us about damp and mould and how they are affecting your home.

When you contact us

When you report a fault or problem we will ask you some questions. These will enable us to identify the problem and help us to deal with it quickly and efficiently.

Be ready to give us the following information when you contact us:

  • the property address
  • your name
  • the times when someone is usually at home so the repair can be carried out
  • a phone number where we can contact you
  • as much detailed information as possible about the repair
