Local Plan - Monitoring
The purpose of authority monitoring is to review progress against Local Plan policy objectives and targets as well as other key planning matters.
The council continually monitors its performance against the Local Development Scheme 2022 (PDF) [584KB] and existing planning policy. The council is currently developing a new Local Plan.
At present, however, the most-recent Local Plan remains the Local Plan 2005 and so performance continues to be monitored against its saved policies.
