Drop-in exhibitions
A number of drop-in exhibitions were held across the district so that residents and businesses could find out more about the proposals within the new Uttlesford Draft Local Plan.

Consultation information booklet
A consultation information booklet was delivered to Uttlesford households following the exhibitions. (Please note the booklets distributed by Royal Mail were printed prior to the change of the end date to 18 December 2023)

What happens next?
The Local Plan Team will analyse the comments received, which will inform the Submission Local Plan (Regulation 19). Everyone will have the opportunity to provide further feedback on the Submission Local Plan during the Regulation 19 Consultation.

Please note that it is a requirement of the Local Plan process that comments can only be accepted if they are received in writing (online, via email or via post). Comments made verbally or anonymously cannot be accepted, including those made at public exhibitions.
The Council is obliged to make all representations available for public inspection on its website.
