Uttlesford Economic Viability Study (Troy Planning and Three Dragons, June 2018) 

The Uttlesford District Council Viability Study provides the Council with evidence to support its Local Plan, including its affordable housing policies. This assessment takes into account the policies in the Regulation 19 Pre-Submission Local Plan, and its supporting evidence base, including policies and sites specifically relating to the Garden Communities.

Water Cycle Study (Arcadis Design & Consultancy, January 2017, April 2018 and January 2019)

A water cycle study update has been prepared to provide evidence that development proposed within the emerging Local Plan can be accommodated by the water and wastewater infrastructure, and wider water environment and identify if additional infrastructure may be required as part of the development.  The work updates the studies of 2010 and 2012.

The Water Cycle Study (WCS) Detailed Update (April 2018) and Second Stage Detailed Update (January 2019) have been commissioned by Uttlesford District Council to provide further evidence that the development proposed within the emerging Local Plan can be accommodated by the existing or new water and wastewater infrastructure, without causing a detriment to the wider receiving water environment.

The document is reviewed and updated annually to ensure the projections of demand for school places are as accurate as possible.

Sports Facilities Development Strategy (Ploszajski Lynch Consulting, January 2016)

The Council has commissioned the production of a Sports Strategy to build on the 2012 Open Space, Sport Facility and Playing Pitch Strategy. The aims of the strategy are:
• To contribute to the Council's wider aims and objectives for improving health and well-being and increasing participation in sport.
• To relate facility needs to sports development programmes and patterns of participation.
• To develop a list of deliverable projects which will help to meet any current deficiencies, provide for future demands and feed into wider infrastructure planning work.
• To provide evidence to help secure internal and external funding.
